Jessica Gallucci, Founder
Jessica is a Brooklyn-based market research professional. She founded Zesty NYC in 2024 after years of dreaming up a business that would allow her to share her affinity for all things food and culture.

Jessica attributes her interests to her upbringing as a 3rd generation Italian-American, and being among the first generation of kids in her family to be raised outside of Brooklyn, NY. Growing up far from the neighborhood her parents called home made trips back to Mom's favorite Brooklyn bakeries and stories of "the good old days" feel like glimpses into a beautiful culture and history that was just out of reach.
Once she moved back to NYC for college, she set out to rediscover for herself what it meant to descend from such a lively subculture, and food became the main vehicle of that rediscovery. What started as a burst of excitement to be surrounded by her favorite Italian American foods, led to an expanded appreciation for native Italian cooking, Mediterranean cuisines, and world gastronomy.

In creating Zesty NYC, Jessica hopes to bring the histories of New York's diverse cuisines to light, promote restaurants that are dedicated to keeping those memories alive, and connect people from around the world over a delicious meal.
